Job Details :
· As an Applications Developer, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications for the Business Banking organization.
· This position requires a high level of development expertise with Java programming and Object Oriented principles.
· The ability to communicate effectively is also required as you will work closely with other groups both within and outside of Business Banking IT to coordinate design, development, and testing efforts of your assigned application components to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
· The Java Applications Developer position is responsible for ensuring the successful design, development, testing, and implementation of application components from a project level. You will utilize mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques
· Applicant should have strong understanding of SDLC and needs to be great team player. Openly discuss the risks and issue.
Technical Skills :
· Solid experience with Java, Java EE, Servlets, Struts, JSPs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JDBC, and XML, Spring.
· Web Services.
· SQL, RDBMS and data modeling experience.
· UNIX and shell scripting.
· AJAX, Jakarta Commons, JUnit, Log4j, Quartz, FOP, iText, Ant, Jasper Reports.
· IBM RAD/Eclipse or similar experience.IBM Rational ClearCase or similar experience.
· IBM Web Sphere Application Server or similar experience.
· Solid oral and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to acquire technical knowledge and skills quickly.
· Excellent problem solving skills.
· Strong planning and organizational skills.
· Ability to work in a team environment under aggressive timelines.
