Position Responsibilities :
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
· Lead Enterprise Wireless LAN Automation team with his/her remote counterpart
· Ensure Automation deliverables are met
· Planning and forecasting Plan for Automation & Related improvements
· Analyze and provide constructive feedback on test outputs and results of the team
· Ensure there is sustained team motivation
· Work with developers and testers to debug test failures and file defect reports
· Work with QA teams to port test suites into test environments
· Develop & enhance automated test scripts in Tcl/Expect
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
· 10-13 years of Manual / Automation in Telecom/Data communication industry (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
· Strong understanding and experience with Switching /Routing/Security/WLAN protocols
· Strong understanding of Automation technologies and framework.
· Strong Automation skills : Scripting/debugging skills in Tcl/Expect
· Experience of using network monitoring and analysis tools to debug Ethernet/Wireless/IP layer problems.
· Experience in mentoring and leading an automation team
· Team player, Self starter, proactive and must be able to understand and automate feature under tests.
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment
