Job Description / Desired Candidate Profile
Job Description:
This individual will be responsible for testing Core security software products based on advanced technology for delivery on Multiple platforms (Primarily on multiflavours of Windows).
The candidate will work closely with Development and QA Leads, write test scripts and also work on various automation activities.
Should have good interpersonal and communication skills, a quick learner, an insatiable appetite for chasing down challenging technical problems, good debugging capabilities.

Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with onsite and offsite engineering teams in a high intensity, high bandwidth environment
2. Work well with a remote development/QA team using your excellent written, verbal and skills
3. Work well with mainline projects owning components and thus requiring less supervision
4. Test plan and design development.
5. Develop data driven test automation scripts and execute tests
6. Utilize innovative test technologies to develop product’s testing strategy
7. Perform debugging and troubleshooting in variety of local and remote testing environments.
8. Analyze and debug the test data to identify the root cause of failures

Candidate Profile:
1. Min of 2-3 yrs of hands-on Testing Experience
2. BE or B.Tech (preferably in Computer Science or related field)

1. Strong knowledge in Testing concepts
2. Proven experience and strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test methodologies
3. Strong OS Concepts (Windows)
4. Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
5. Analyse defects and propose solutions. Should have high quality defect standards.
6. Strong verbal & written communication skills
7. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills
8. Able to prioritize and complete concurrent projects
9. Strong self-motivation and the ability to work as a team member
10. Must be able to work in an environment of constant demands and frequent interruptions
