For Group „X? (Technical) Trades
|
Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or Equivalent Examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma.

For Group „Y? (Non-Technical) [Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) and Musician] Trades:

Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Two year Vocational Course affiliated/recognized by CBSE/State Education Boards/Councils duly recognized at par with 10+2 by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Note: Exact aggregate percentage of marks up to first place of decimal for all subjects as mentioned in the Marks Sheet of Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent will only be considered (For example, 49.9% should Not be rounded off to 50%).
Medical Standards : (a) General Medical Standards for both Group „X? (Technical) trades and Group „Y? (Non-Technical) {Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) & Musician} trades are as follows: - (i) Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms. (ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm (iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age. (iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable. (v) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately. (vi) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points. (vii) Health: Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

Selection Process : The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AMonwards as per the details given below. Candidates reporting up to 10 AM at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.

The Recruitment Test is not for selection as Officers/Pilots/Navigators.
